Dr. Capi Wever

Capi Wever studied medicine as well as philosophy in the USA and The Netherlands. He was trained in Otolaryngology at Nijmegen University Medical Center in The Netherlands.
From 1997 to 2002 he scrutinized the cochlear implant controversy based on in-depth interviews with parents of deaf children as well as other stakeholders, which resulted in a PhD-thesis titled "parenting deaf children in the era of cochlear implantation".
He is currently working as a staff otolaryngologist at Aruba's ENT Clinic in the West Indies
