Conference Programme Overview

The conference begins with a consideration of the political and strategic aspects of hearing impairment with contributions from distinguished political figures from within Europe, set in context by key parental and professional contributions. This will be followed by a session addressing the current issues important to parents and professionals throughout Europe, ways in which services are changing to meet these and will explore positive aspects of multi-professional working. The final session will look at ways of raising the profile of deaf children and their families to ensure that hearing services for children throughout Europe get the resources they need to flourish in the future.
